When I read great reviews of places I wonder "Is this for real? Is the manager writing this?" This is definitely a biased review, but understand it is not in my best interest that the inn is full, as it means I must stay some place else.

I know the Pearls (Linda and Greg) of Pearlessence Vineyard Inn, knew them before they found each other some 30+ years ago. We discovered wine and food together while creating families. The vineyard and inn became a dream that they ultimately fulfilled but not overnight. Years ago we followed our passions, experienced all the wine regions of California, testing wineries, B & B’s and restaurants. Linda and Greg continued the adventure in an ever-widening circle enjoying and experiencing other states and other countries. They eventually followed their hearts to a vineyard of their own, carefully selecting the correct ‘terroir’ for Pinot Noir. The best California producers purchase their grapes.

You will find a vast and experienced knowledge of the area, wineries, food, places and events in Northern California’s wine country and the experience of what hospitality and comfort is supposed to be. The room is modern, well appointed and artful; the grounds are fun and full of discovery. Most important the ‘Pearls’ are perfect hosts; they create a wonderful, memorable ambience because their personal passion and experience coincides with what we are expecting in a wine country get-away.
