This little gem has some of the best pastries & chocolates this side of France! The cakes are wonderful as sell. Our favorites are the croissants, apple galettes, & GF brownies. Try any thing, everything there is good! The chocolate beet cake with ganache is exceptional. Just st an all around wonderful place!

Being from Austria, I am culturally conditioning to excellent pastries, cakes and chocolates. Patisserie Angelica makes me feel right at home. Plus, they have the best gluten free brownies which I can’t neither get in Vienna nor Paris or anywhere else. Hence, I feel very lucky to have Angelica in our area and have been a very loyal customer for years. Until one day, when I learned about the “cutting fee”, where I was charged to cut my favorite Brownies into cubes (4 little pieces).
Having lived in various places worldwide, I understand that California’s living expenses are very high and it is hard to make a living, but charging to cut brownies took everything I love so much about away. It replaced the magical taste of their products, which in my mind are little pieces of art, beautiful displays and sweet setting, with the bitter taste of taken advantage of.
